Poetry for Parts Work
A moon-guided writing circle that explores identity and inner landscape through Jungian and mythopoetic lenses.
Poetry for Parts-Work is a moon-guided writing circle for those drawn to the quiet power of inner voice. Rooted in Jungian psychology and parts-work, this seasonal series offers a gentle structure for exploring identity, voice, and memory through poetry. With breath, metaphor, and the rhythm of the lunar cycle, you’ll be invited to listen inward, meet the many selves that shape your creative life, and write from the voices that often go unheard. This is a space for deep attention, not performance—a space to bring your inner landscape to the page, one poem’s line at a time.
Over four weeks, we’ll slip beneath the busy, soften into seaweed, and write from the parts of you that want to speak—some clearly, some quietly, and some only when conditions are just so. We’ll draw from parts-work, archetypes, poetry, nature, and the lunar cycle as a way of listening, really listening, to the voices inside and outside that have something to say.
The practices you’ll learn over these four weeks will help you meet the beautiful chaos of the day-to-day with more curiosity, resourcefulness, and gentleness. This is a course for and about writing poetry, but also an invitation into mythopoetic movement that helps us live well, even in the stress of today’s world.
Slow down with us. Be still with us. Translate your place in the world with us. The seaweed is calling, and your dreams get clearer the deeper you dare to swim.

The Math of Grass
Ash Wylder
When a blade of grass decides
it's time to up itself out of earth and
sway in winds strong
enough to topple trees, it hasn't
done the math or
even asked if
upwards is worth the arithmetic.
It just reaches for sunlight
like eyes looking at the horizon
watching for something to add
to the greater sum.
We are like that -
Sometimes we reach for each other
without knowing why,
and when we touch
we forget about
counting altogether.
